We met up at Dodge Park in Commerce Township. This is one of my all-time favorite places to go even just on my own downtime exploring. The tall trees with the sunset sparkling through them are absolutely magical. It was still a bit chilly here in Michigan. So we made sure to plan accordingly with their outfits to stay bundled but still feeling confident. Scott and Sylvia are the cutest dang couple. You might have seen them on this Dunkin Donut Couple Photoshoot (if you haven’t seen it go now because it was literally FIRE). They have been married for years and wanted to do something fun and shake off those Michigan winter blues.

No matter what season you’re in here in Michigan we can still create magic. When it comes to planning your cute couple photo-shoot I am here to help you think outside of the box and create a session that speaks 100% to you two.

They put on their Carhartts and we were off to explore. Everything is within good walking distance so it makes it easy to spend extra time having fun and chatting.  I want you to feel 100% true to yourself and comfortable. I specialize in prompts vs. poses. What does that mean you ask? Prompts are activities or movement that I’ll have you both do that help give you direction without it being an awkward pose. This also allows you to be present together vs. trying to figure out if you’re posing right or not.

Your session should be a fun experience as if you two are on a date together. I want to take you away from the day to day to-dos and just be present with each other.

We had the whole field to ourselves which was a dream. They ran around together and snuggled in close at times to keep toasty warm. These two are just so much fun to be around; their energy together is electric as they danced in the sunset together. It was a perfect way to end the day.
