Reading List – My Top 3 must reads

I love a good book and a warm cup of coffee. This has been my top 3 reading list. If you are looking to dig your nose into some self-development this is the list for you.

Keep scrolling to see why this is my top 3 reading list and why self-development books are the best for creative entrepreneurs.

War of Art by Steven Pressfield.

This book will call you right out from the start. If I have held onto the information from a book the most it would be this one. Steven Pressfield gets right to the root and shines a light on your resistance. Heck, I had resistance just starting this blog. But when I can acknowledge it, I can go against it and show up for my goals.

As a creative entrepreneur brain food is so important. Grabbing a good book from a reading list can change your whole business.

You are a badass by Jen Sincero.

I have these colored page markers I use for when I find a sentence in a book that really speaks to me. This book is filled to the brim with these page markers. Jen knows how to tell you how it as like your best friend. It’s full of laughs and oops realizations. I enjoyed every page of this book. I can get really sleepy while reading and there was not one snore while reading You are a badass. If this is not on your reading list or its been collecting dust waiting start this one right now.

I promise you are a badass and won’t regret adding this to your reading list for one minute.

Girl wash your face and Girl stop apologizing by Rachel Hollis.

If you have not heard of the fabulous Rachel Hollis yet, then it is time to wash your face and stop apologizing and go to your nearest Target and grab these must-haves. Rachel makes reading a breeze and talks about a lot of topics that we have battling underneath the pretty filter of our lives. She not only helps you see the areas you need to work on but also gives you tips and tricks to get out of them. I to this day use the tips in these books and remind myself that I am capable of more. If you have not read a self-improvement book and are not sure where to start, I would recommend starting today with Rachel Hollis. (If you are a fan already, I hope you appreciated my puns!)

Reading does not have to be scary and especially when it comes to self-improvement books. You can find one that is exactly right for you and still impact you just as much as another that maybe does not read as well for you.

Alex and I dig deep into more of our favorite brain food in Episode #8 of the Limitless Future Podcast. So, if you are looking for more to add to your reading list make sure to go give it a listen on the streaming platform of your choice.

What books are on your reading list? I would love to add more to mine.
